JIBCO Days

The Jordanian Italian Business Council has organized “JIBCO Days “which is a program of an official visits to some factories & workplace of JIBCO members started from 11/6/2007 till 14/6/2007.

 

The main purpose of “JIBCO Days” is to share knowledge, information, ideas, opinions, suggestions, and experiences as well as encouraging willful collaboration among JIBCO members away from daily operations & procedures work.

 

            

 

1. Chocolate Day 11/6/2007

 

Visit to The Professional Manufacturers for Chocolate & Confectionary (PMC)
which started in the 1950 the Hosh family relationship with chocolate was and still is flourishing love affair. In 1972 it was a development stage in which moved from trading with chocolate as importers to producers of chocolate & wafers.

The business went through a number of phases where it grew from strength to strength. In 2002 the Professional Manufacturers for Chocolate & Confectionary (PMC) factory was established, The PMC factory, situated just outside Amman (Al Jiza), is built & equipped with the latest in chocolate manufacturing machinery.


PMC is a major producer & distributor of chocolate in Jordan & the region. It has fifty employees, 90% of them are Jordanian. PMC production capacity is up to 15 Tons daily .Export Market 60%,Local Market 40%.

 

         

 

Markets:

The chocolate is distributed directly to our customers in Jordan, Middle East, North Africa, Arabian Gulf, India & the USA.

L’étoile is our chocolates brand and we have many other private labels.

PMC is currently ISO 2000 & HACCAP certified & is working towards getting other international certifications & awards to ensure highest standards & conditions in the chocolate industry.

The products range:

Chocolate Praline two categories over 40 fillings & shapes (Pavé, L’étoile & other private labels).
Chocolate Blocks three categories (Royal, Classic & Delight) (0.250 gr. & 2.500 gr.).
Chocolate spread two categories (L’étoile & Star) (0.400 gr. & 5.000 gr.).
Chocolate Sticks two categories (Royal & Classic).
Chocolate Chips two categories (Royal & Classic) (0.0340 gr. & 5.000 gr.).
Chocolate Callets (Royal & Classic) (0.500 gr. & 5.000 gr.).

2. Industrial Day 12/6/2007 :

Nasser Est was established in 1967 by Mr. Ali Mustafa Al-Wahdani as the first Jordanian Company specialized in metallic industries, where the first car for handicaps was designed and produced. Afterwards, this industry was developed to design and produce garbage metal containers, compactors and different sizes of garbage collection vehicle in addition to various metal products in accordance with clients demands.

The QUALITY:

As a sign of appreciation for our efforts to reach the excellence level, Al Nasser Group has obtained ISO (9001) Quality Assurance System for Design and Development from the famous certification body "LLOYDS REGISTER". This certificate was awarded for designing and manufacturing of metal containers, garbage collectors (compactor) and metal sheet products.

Toward a Cleaner Environment Established in 1998, Nasser for Environmental Services, was the first Jordanian Company specialized in the field of serving the environment including the collection and transportation of waste, washing and disinfecting, maintenance, waste management consultations and waste recycling.

Establishing Al Nasser for Environmental Services resulted from our top management belief; that preserving the environment through wise management and processing and recycling solid waste is a necessity for the economy of the Arab countries.

Preserving the environment by using modern scientific methods will save resources, which can be used in the development process.

3-Jewels Day 13/6/2007:

Foresight Art Center was established in September 1991 under the name Baladna Art Gallery, it was the first private and independent art gallery to exhibit art work in Jordan. It started off with a small space and was soon transformed into a cultural and artistic mold that played several roles, like organizing festivals and art forums, hosting cultural dialogue sessions and building artistic and cultural bridges of communication with the rest of the world.

In 1996, the gallery moved locations to a bigger space that allowed holding bigger exhibitions and seminars and workshops in addition to producing silver jewelry.

      

Afterwards changed location once again to an old villa which had the 60s style, it was renovated and renewed to become a bigger art gallery for holding local and regional plastic art exhibitions, in addition to holding various artistic activities like seminars, cultural workshops and training courses.

During the past sixteen years, Foresight Art Center was dedicated to the message it has held throughout the years as an “Arab Art Gallery” and a “Bridge of creative communication with the world”.

In addition to the exhibitions held for well known Jordanian artists and adopting many promising talents, it has attracted tens of important artists from the Arab World including 14 countries and the world.

As a major supporter of Jordanian plastic art, a demonstration entitled: “An Artist and a Painting” was held in June 1992; where 50 Jordanian artists participated. Later-in the mid 90s- a larger demonstration was organized for Jordanian women (artists) entitled “the world through women’s eyes”; where twenty five Jordanian artists participated from Jordan and other counties.

Foresight Art Center held tens of individual and collective exhibitions for Jordanian Artists including:

  • The first Forum for Arab Plastic Artists (Women) with the participation of 11 Arab Countries and holding workshops to introduce their work.
  • The first and second Forums for Arab Sculptors where 9 Arab countries participated with the cooperation of Jerash Festival for culture and Art.
  • Finally, a collective exhibition for Jordanian art was held in Sharqa Museum.

4. Ceramic Day 14/6/2007:

In the year 2003 , Rukon Al Sultan was established as a subsidiary of Akram Ramadan Company . Rukon Al-Sultan Gallery contains a collections of Ceramic tiles , Porclain tiles, Sanitary ware, Jaccuzi’s & Bathroom accessories which have been imported from Italy such as Refien , Fab ..
