Mr Marwan Khoury is the Area Manager of Furrer Company in Carrara – Italy who has stayed in Amman from 18/6/2007 till 24/6/2007.

During Mr Khoury’s stay in Amman the Jordanian Italian Business Council has scheduled an official visits as mentioned below:

Visit to the factory of The Oriental Jerusalem Art Stone / owned by Sultan Yassin.

The Company was established in 1963 in a medium size workshop in Amman, and has taken it upon itself for revolutionize work in the stone industry in the region by specializing in the cutting and reshaping of natural stone into various designs as per customers need using highly skilled labor and the most modern and advance machines created for this purpose.

Process :

Orientals Jerusalem Art Stone” is equipped with the best machinery from the mechanically operated types to the latest state of the art ones operated by computers The company owns the following machines.

  1. Sawing machines for cutting blocks to thickness.
  2. Sawing machines for cutting stone to size.
  3. Bush hammering and flaming machine for surfaces texturing
  4. Tiles process lines.
  5. Polishing machines.
  6. Copying machine for profiling and curving.
  7. Milling machines for columns and balustrades.
  8. CNC Diamond wire machine for profiling and special cutting.
  9. CNC waterjet machine for slabs special cutting and in lay designs.
  10. CNC 3 – axis machine for profiling, shaping and carving with laser 3D scanner.

Packaging of finished products is done to international specifications to guarantee the products’ safety on reaching its destination.
