During The Jordanian Italian Business Council delegation visit to Abruzzo - Pescara –Italy from 26/4/2008 - 29/4/2008 in Pescara – Abruzzo. From 30/4/2008 till 2/5/2008 in Rome .Returned back to Pescara-Abruzzo on 2/5/2008 afternoon till 3/5/2008.
Several meetings and official visits which have been scheduled as follow:

Saturday 26/4/2008

Meeting with Ing Guido Carletti / Mayer of Montesilvano – Pescara. During the meeting I made a presentation about the Hashemite Kingdon of Jordan which showed:

The location advantage of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the heart of The Middle East.
-
The most important tourist sites in Jordan such as Dead see the lowest point in the world and Wadi Rum the highest point in the world, Jerash, Petra, etc…
-
About the Jordanian Italian Business Council as private sector and achievements since establishment till now.
-
The importance of European Free trade agreements which have been signed with European Countries (EFTA) in 2000; Jordan entered into an association agreement with the European Union.
-
The encourage the exchange delegates between the Jordanian Italian Business Council and the Municipality of Montesilvano in Pescara.
-
The investment laws in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan encourage foreign investments. The law affords incentives to industry, hospital, agriculture and other sectors.

This meeting followed by TV interview with Ing Guido Carletti / Mayer of Montesilvano & Mr Daniele Planamente / President of Studio planamente who now is representing JIBCO in Montiesilvano – Pescara and Abeer Qatabi/ Jordanian Italian Business on Channel 8 and press conference.

Meeting with Mr Duilio Fabbiani / Ex Vice President of Hotel School in Montesilvano. During our meeting at Studio Planamente we discussed the possibilities of opening hotel school which will provide full training courses in (services, hospitality, waiters) for International five stars hotels and restaurants.

Visit to Salzetta for flowers and agricultural services in Sant Angelo – Pescara.

Meeting with Heidmia training center for hairdressers. They made presentation explained their method of work on global standards.

Visit to Extra Factory for construction owned by Mr Claudio who visited JIBCO last February 2008.

Sunday 27/4/2008

Visit of Loreto Mountains where the Acerbo gallery of Castelli ceramics was founded in 1957. The exquisite collection on display in the rooms designed by the architect Leonardo Palladini contains 570 exhibits, Including plates, vases, jars, dating back to the golden period of the Castelli School in the province of Teramo from the early 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century.

Visit of Olive oil museum in Castelletto Amorotti where the olive processing of Crushing, pressing and separation machines are display in the rooms of the museum.

Meeting with Mr Giuseppe Girolimetti / President Of Chamber of industry in Pescara –Abruzzo & Mr Alessandro Addari / Vice President and number of head departments in the chamber. During, I made a presentation about the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan which explained:

Meeting with Mr Massimo Taschini/ Secretary General of Chamber of Commerce of Pescara in presence of Mr Gluseppe Di Pletro / Vice President of Chamber of Commerce. During this meeting several points have been mentioned after the presentation about Jordan and the achievement of JIBCO in 2007as follow:

Jordan’s foreign trade policy is based on encouraging and attracting international and local investors to achieve mutual interests toward globalizing world economy.

Visit to MGR Plant-located in industrial zone in Pescara specialized on industrial doors with upper guide, or with cylinder and external handle , with double rod guide, with extruded aluminum structure , etc….

Visit to Falcone factory specialized in sweets since 1997 .

Visit to Cosmetal factory which is specialized in all kind of furniture such as office furniture, kids bedroom, storage solutions, etc..

Meeting with Dr Planamente which during we agreed on the following:

The draft of contract which has been prepared in cooperation with Dr Omar Al-Jazy ( as enclosed).

Mr Daniele Planamente is the owner of Studio Planamente which is located in Montesilvano –Pescara will represent The Jordanian Italian Business Council in this region Montesilvano –Pescara –Abruzzo.

All Italian Companies will approach the Jordanian Market though Studio Planamente in coordination with JIBCO and precisely the opposite.

Wednesday 30/5/2008 in Rome

Visit to MidEuro works for the Internationalization of the Italian Companies by enhancing the relationships with Middle East countries by providing available areas for organizations, workshops and showrooms.

Visit to Mr Sergio Marini/ President of Chamber of Commerce Italian Arabic. During our meeting we have discussed the possibilities of Sending the business magazine to JIBCO members regularly and JIBCO achievements in 2007.
Friday 2nd of May 2008
Visit HRH Princess Wijdan Al-Hashemiah / The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Rome. During our meeting we have Discussed the following:

The purpose of JIBCO visit to Rome & Abruzzo.

Introducing Mr Daniele Planamente / President of Studio Planamente.

The possibilities of cooperation and coordination in future between the embassy Of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and JIBCO.

HRH Princess Wijdan was very impressed of JIBCO Directory 2008 , accordingly I sent 300 copies of directory and newsletter of JIBCO through diplomatic pouch which will be distributed in Italy through the Embassy of Jordan in Rome.
-
As per request of HRH Princess Wijdan to join HRH in her visit to Ortona next day morning (Saturday 3rd of May 2007) to attend the celebration which has been organized for HRH and to Have a look at the location where the exhibition will be held next August 2008.

Saturday 3/5/2008
Visit Ortona region with HRH Princess Wijdan Al-Hashemiah which is 30 Kilometers away of Pescara.
In the presence of the Mayer of Ortona and some Senators we have exchanged with HRH and the Italian organizers the ideas to make this exhibition which will be held n August 2008 to promote the Jordanian productions a real success.
